Artist Statement

The day is warm and beautiful, yet the park remains empty. Not a single child is there to enjoy the park. Not a single child is there to laugh, play or run. We are to remain home and keep our outings to a minimum; however, we have been inside long enough. "Calm down, be safe, wear your mask, and be six feet apart", is what our health officials advise. The park will remain vacant as we are waiting for our next chance. Meanwhile, I continue to savor the moments when I was able enjoy those beautiful days at the park.
