Artist Statement

My inspiration for this piece was just my feelings of isolation from the recent pandemic that hit us. And how it feels like there is nothing that can be done to change anything and how everything feels so distant and far away from me now. But even with the distance that I am feeling at the moment there is still a glimpse of light coming through the window that I know everything will turn out being fine.
