A couple of notes about the design:
I see this tunnel as magical as “the rabbit hole from Alice in wonderland ” where pedestrians can feel that they are in a different reality. My vision of it, is that it’s going to be my fantasy world with beautiful nature and unusual trees and flowers but at the same time it’s going to be Glen Ellyn! How can I achieve this? By painting some architectural elements and buildings which everyone can recognize - it can be the movie theater, historical buildings, street lights, etc.
My main idea - is to make a positive impact and let people feel amazed; make them feel happy and joy when they go through this tunnel. What’s important for me is that it's reflecting the surroundings, friendly people, peaceful neighborhoods, and beautiful nature in that painting. Just to create the right fit mural for the tunnel that speaks for the town and be a masteries of art that adds to the town’s beauty.
