Eleanor Himmelfarb was an American painter and Win-field resident from 1942 until her death in 2009, Eleanor Himmelfarb's prolific career spanned 60 years. Her work is in private and public collections throughout the U.S.

Bill Brach is a longtime Winfield resident who owned and operated Brach’s service station at the corner of Winfield Road and Highlake and is still in operation today. Bill contributed to the town as a fireman and the Grandknight of the Knights of Columbus.

John Karwoski is a lifelong Winfield resident, John is well known in Winfield as the owner of John’s Buffet. He also made major contributions to Winfield as a founder of the Bank of Winfield and the Lions Club, along with serving on the Winfield Fire Department for 40 years.

Kevin Streelman was born in Winfield and grew up in Wheaton. Kevin recorded his first PGA Tour victory in 2013 at the Tampa Bay Championship, and a second win in 2014 at the Travelers Championship. He has recorded fifty top 10 finishes in the 16 years of his PGA Tour career, and continues to pursue his passion for high performance golf.
