Don Jessen active volunteer involved in the Addison Jaycees, Addison Police Fire Merit Review Board, Founder of Community Council, Illinois Association of Park Districts Board, National Associations of Parks, and Addison Parks and Recreation Foundation to name a few. Don says, “It’s been a pleasure to serve the residents of Addison all of these years!”
Don Figarelli, “The Don of Sports” is currently the producer and host of the Addison Sports Special show on AddisonTV. Don also competes in the Illinois Senior Games. Now in the 80- to 85-year-old age bracket, he consistently places first or second in swimming, basketball (free-throw shooting), tennis, golf, bowling and track.
Alexa Scimeca is an American Olympic Skater, with partner, Brandon Frazier, in 2022 medaling a silver in: The World Champion, The Winter Olympics, and Grand Prix Final. She is a two-time U.S. National Champion, and a three-time Grand Prix Gold Medalist with many earlier achievements.
Maria Reyes an Addison Police officer and role model to all. Maria has held the office of the Addison Fire Protection District Fire Commissioner, Addison Women’s Club Treasurer and St. Philip the Apostle School Board Member. Growing up from a humble upbringing and immigrating to the United States as a child, Maria feel she is an example of the American Dream and feels her purpose is now to give back to the community and inspired young children to follow their dreams.
