Mike Andrews is Assistant Professor of Fiber and Material Studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as Director of the Oxbow school of Art in Saugatuck, Michigan. His work consists of large life size weavings, installations and performances tackling, gender, identity, craft, the digital vs. the tactile and the abstract language of painting. Mike speaks about his recent hand tufted drawings made in collaboration with textile company.
