Ceremonial Bloodgood Japanese Maple Planting

Join the Village of Lisle on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. in honor of Arbor Day, as we plant a ceremonial Bloodgood Japanese Maple in the future Japanese Garden (Garden estimated to be planted in May) next to the alley behind 4740 Main Street along the Garden Walk. The Japanese Garden is being planted to coincide with the Hokusai and Ukiyo-e local art installation in Downtown Lisle.

The Village is handing out a limited supply of Sweetbay Magnolia and Black Oak saplings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. which can be picked up by any Lisle resident that would like one. They are available on a first come, first served basis and are limited to one per person.
