A Political Language
In response to Black History Month and the 2020 theme, African Americans and The Vote, Wings Gallery presents, A Political Language.
Art is A Political Language and the gallery is a space in which to practice this language. This project will explore the work of five established artists and the political work they make, considering their motivations, personal and worldly contexts. Adjacent to this, Wings Gallery will operate as a safe-space-circle in which students may take up residence in order to discuss their political considerations with one and other. This circle will be available to students during gallery hours, for casual, safe and respectful discussion.
Exhibition designed and researched by Charles Morrison, Megha Jain and Heidi Holmes.
